COUPLE WIN DREAM WEDDING

Eleanor Maher and fiancé David Cake beat hundreds of hopeful couples to win the top prize in the Vizzit Media wedding fair competition held at The Italian Villa in January.

The couple met two years ago on dating website Match.com. They quickly fell in love and soon found themselves driving four hours to see each other every weekend as stockbroker David lived in Weymouth whilst financial analyst Eleanor lived near Chichester.

After a year of dating they decided to move into their first home together in Ashley Cross and at Christmas, just a year later, David asked Eleanor to marry him. The happy couple are now looking forward to a September 2010 wedding.

Eleanor adds: "I fell in love with the Italian Villa the moment I saw it. It really does have the wow factor, it's so unique and I'm just so excited that we'll be having our wedding here."

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL WEDDING FAIR

On the 10th and 11th January The Italian Villa hosted its second wedding fair. With even more visitors than last year, 2009's wedding fair was a huge success!
The area's leading suppliers were on-hand to offer indispensable advice on how to create the most memorable day.

From sensational floral displays to live musicians, delicious wedding cakes, tasty canapés, ice sculptures and more, visitors were able to get a real sense of how their wedding day could look, smell, taste and sound.

A spectacular fashion show, took place daily at 11.45am and 3pm each day, wowed the audience with the latest looks for all members of the bridal party.

For those looking to travel to the aisle in style a selection of classic cars were on show as well as an 'Only Fools and Horses' style Robin Reliant – complete with a 'Just Married' sign - for those wanting to add some humour to their big day!
