The Italian Villa now offers couples the ultimate wedding opportunity – getting married in the romantic outdoor setting of The Italian Garden. With guests gathered and seated at the foot of the stone steps leading out from The Italian Villa, couples can make the walk from the stunning stone grotto, past the many historical statues, including Bacchus in his Domed Temple, the Wrestlers of Herculaneum and the old Venetian bronze lanterns, each providing a taste of Italian history, culture and romance.
Once couples have tied the knot, their guests can remain in the Italian Garden for a drinks reception with canapes, whilst the happy couple goes off around the remaining 10 acres of themed gardens around Compton Acres to take their wedding photographs and create unforgettable memories.
Everyone will then gather in the Medici Suite for a sumptuous wedding breakfast, featuring seasonal menus from the team of talented chefs from Beales Gourmet. Speeches usually then take place in the same suite.
Finally, the wedding builds into a crescendo as the evening reception commences in the Siena Suite. Here, bands and DJs are most at home, creating a real party atmosphere for guests to enjoy. And whilst dancing can be hungry work, guests will be sustained by a delicious evening buffet and their own private bar as they dance into the night.
