 We collect personal information from the data provided to us by customers in ordering services from us, both in written and electronic form.  This includes information provided in telephone conversations, as well as in providing quotations for the services we provide, and when you download event packs or complete forms from our website.  We also collect data when you register for our wedding shows or open days, when you request a meeting at the Italian Villa and when you request a newsletter subscription.  In addition, we will collect your details if you submit your CV to us.  Our website uses cookies to retain information for easier access to our website (see later for further information).

What we do with the information we gather:

  • to improve our products and services;

They are the only way to determine suspicious activity or vulnerability for hacking.
  • Facebook may use the Facebook pixel to collect or receive information from the publisher webstore and use that information to provide measurement services, targeted adverts and as described in the Facebook Data Policy (use of data by Facebook will involve a transfer of data outside of the European Economic Area);
  • for the purpose of enforcing the agreement reached between us regarding the delivery of goods or services, included in the obtaining of legal advice and utilisation within proceedings (which may involve sharing the relevant data with legal and professional advisors).

Security and storage of information:

We will keep your information secure by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures against its unauthorised or unlawful processing and against its accidental loss, destruction or damage. We will do our best to protect your personal information but we cannot guarantee the security of your information which is transmitted to our website, applications or services or to other website, applications and services via an internet or similar connection.  We will retain your personal booking information for a period of seven years if you have been a customer, as the information is necessary to back up our invoicing and financial data obligations. During this period, only authorised employees will have access to your information, it will be stored in secure files and after this period it will be deleted. Two years after your event with Compton Acres Ltd, for individual consumers, (not business clients), we will stop sending you marketing information, special offers, recipes etc unless you request to continue receiving this information.  If an individual enquirer does not become a customer, their details are deleted within one year.

 

How we use cookies:
